Workshops For 2010... In My Studio!

 Please note all courses will be mostly taught in English... I am, unfortunately, not really bilingual (yet!)

Wet Felt-making projects

Niveau : adultes

Session et horaires du cours : les mardis de 18h30 à 21h30 - 12 séances de 3 heures sur 12 semaines à l’automne du 21 septembre au 7 decembre.

Frais d’inscription par élève : 320$

Coût du matériel par élève : 25$ (tous matériaux inclus)

Level: Adults.

Classes: Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. 12 classes of 3 hours each, from September 21 to December 7.

Cost per student: $320 plus materials fee $25, totalling $345.

Description du cours (en anglais): In this twelve-week course, adults will learn to make felt, making purposeful felt projects such as scarves, formed felt for pouches or purses, felt beads, felted loofah soap, catnip-laden cat-toys (or dolls for those who do not have a cat!) .

Add Depth To Your Painting

Niveau : adultes

Session et horaires du cours : les mercredis de 18h30 à 21h30 - 6 séances de 3 heures sur 6 semaines du 13 octobre au 17 novembre

Frais d’inscription par élève : 170$

Coût du matériel par élève : 25$ (tous matériaux inclus)

Level: Adults.

Days/Times: Wednesdays from 6:30pm tp 9:30pm. 6 classes of 3 hours each, from the 13th of October to the 17th of November.

Cost: $170 + $25 materials = $195 per student.

Description du cours (en anglais): In this painting course, students will practice oil-painting tips and techniques that will add perspective, the illusion of depth, and a new complexity to their painting.

Painting and Mixed Media Project

Niveaux : adolescents

Sessions de cours et horaires: les samedis matins de 10h à 12h30 - 12 séances de 2 heures 30 sur 12 semaines du 25 septembre au 11 decembre.

Frais d’inscription par élève : 270$.

Coût du matériel par élève : 30$

Level: Teens. (13-18).

Days/Times: Saturday Mornings from 10am to 12:30pm. 12 weeks of 2.5 hours each class. From the 25th of September to the 11th of December.

Description du cours (en anglais): Students in this course will learn how to make wool felt. They will then paint, make felt, sew, and collage to create a mixed-media art project.

Cost: $270 plus $30 materials = $300　

This is a large wall-hanging that I made with an elementary school during an ArtsSmarts project. The wall-hanging includes a range of techniques, including painting, felt-making, textile art, beading and sewing. The image is based on the school song.

Mixed Media For Kids

Niveaux : enfants (8-12)

Sessions de cours et horaires: les samedis de 14h de 16h - 12 séances de 2 heures sur 12 semaines du 25 septembre au 11 decembre.

Level: Kids. (8-12).

Days/Times: Saturday from 2pm to 4pm. 12 weeks of 2 hours each class. From the 25th of September to the 11th of December.
